CB Stoneware made by Binda Colebrook

Bark fragments found on the forest floor are lovingly transformed into a solid crest for our times.

Clay is gently pressed into the veins and crevasses of foraged slabs of bark that have been shed by the trees. The resulting imprint is rubbed with stains and glazes and fired twice.

The contours and elevations of the Bark Imprint create a topographical map of the trees former protective layer.
